Every year our fabulous team member Mandy takes part in numerous fundraising events. This year Mandy chose to kickstart the year by walking 56 miles in February for one of our charity partners Refuge.
“On 1st February I pulled on my trainers and pink t-shirt and starting the Walk 56 miles in February for Refuge challenge. I was not alone. Over 10,000 others joined the challenge, in solidarity with women and children fleeing domestic violence. The individual amounts raised varied, and I am extremely grateful to friends and family who supported me raising £244 for this fantastic charity. Together the team raised an amazing £371,329.
I feel great knowing I have been able to help women and children rebuild their lives – free from fear.”
